One of the most important things about social media is that the medium allows you to stay connected with your customers 24/7. Using social media to its best can be a daunting task however it does not have to be. Here are a few tips on how to be more consistent on social media and more importantly make it count. πΆ
- Make sure you have your content calendar ready to go. This means pre upload content to your library from time to time so you have something always ready to be posted. We recommend further dividing up the content into categories. This can be thought of as themes for what you’d like to post on social media.
- Include graphics from royalty free stock sites like unsplash, pexabay, pexel etc. to make your content slightly more interested than just text. Adding emojis also has been shown to be a great way to drive the engagement up (even purchase intent).
- Tag people when you share on social media who would find your content specifically interesting. Make sure you think twice before tagging too many people, less is more. In fact, often time Linked In will go as far as suggesting you to tag people if your posts are getting a lot of attention.
As an underdog myself, I know first hand what it’s like to make social media work for our business and you can too. Join our client networking calls every Friday at 12 pm EST where customers can ask any question they have been trying to find answers to such as how to make a sales funnel, or what is a conversions API from facebook for paid ads and other questions relevant to your small business. β³
