😍 Emojis Drive πŸ“ˆ Double Digit Engagement. What! πŸš€

πŸ’β€β™‚οΈ Humans πŸ‘‰πŸ½ Visual Creatures:

From the beginning of time, storytelling and conveying ideas by means of visuals has been a common occurrence around the world. From cave painting to ancient tablet to astrological charts of shapes in the skies, man has been on a quest to share socially. It is this spirt of sharing with others that thousands of years later, has led to the rise of successful social networking platforms like twitter, facebook, linked in, instagram and Pinterest just to name a few. The last two being by far the most visual in nature, the success of these technology giants stems from the inherent need to share stories, latest findings, ideas and more with friends and family.

As you know, the ancients in almost every culture used some form of visuals to record history and in some cases, entire languages were based on shapes, images, patterns such as hieroglyphics in ancient Egypt. While modern east asian languages are also based on the idea of images coming together to form meanings, we haven’t seen a major “update” to our languages until the rise of  😍 emojis or emoticons. According to research, the very nature of emojis allows for quicker and more meaningful expression than any other means of communication (sign language comes close).

While building Woofy, a data science driven marketing platform to support professionals all over the world, we quickly realized that our predictive linguistics research could go beyond just autocompleting english phrases for social posts. We ended up creating the world’s first visual search engine that could recommend the best combination of words, emojis, hashtags as well as copyright free images based on your inputted social post. For the first time, an engine that navigated over 2832 emojis in split seconds to contextually give you recommendations of relevant emojis was designed and it was created with data science at the backend. Which emojis, words, hashtags etc. best co occur with one another in social media and in real human to human conversations. With millions of data points as training data, Woofy.ai emerged as dream come true for all social media marketing professionals. We will have a long way to go.
